Work & Pay

For drivers and sponsors

What KAONA Offers

KAONA is GoGreenGH's work and pay programme for drivers who want to build income with an electric or hybrid vehicle, and for sponsors who want to fund vehicles under structured agreements.

Every plan is designed around transparency: eligibility criteria, deposit requirements, repayment terms, guarantor rules, and vehicle monitoring policies are explained upfront before onboarding.

For Drivers

Acquire an EV or hybrid through a work and pay plan, earn with the vehicle, and build toward full ownership under agreed terms.

  • Structured path from deposit to ownership
  • Support for maintenance and vehicle use guidance
  • Clear weekly or monthly repayment schedule
  • Eligibility and guarantor requirements explained upfront

For Sponsors

Fund one or more vehicles for qualified drivers under KAONA terms, with reporting, risk controls, and defined recovery processes.

  • Fund vehicles for approved driver operators
  • Structured agreements with repayment visibility
  • Tracker and camera policy for asset protection
  • Support from GoGreenGH through onboarding and monitoring

Eligibility

Requirements differ for drivers and sponsors. Final approval is subject to KAONA assessment and documentation review.

Driver eligibility

  • Valid Ghana driver's licence with a clean recent driving record
  • Proof of residence and stable contact details in Ghana
  • Demonstrated experience or plan for commercial or approved vehicle use
  • Ability to meet the required initial deposit
  • Willingness to provide approved guarantors
  • Agreement to KAONA tracker, camera, and vehicle use policies

Sponsor eligibility

  • Registered business, institution, or verified individual sponsor profile
  • Proof of funding capacity for the vehicle package proposed
  • Agreement to KAONA sponsor terms and driver approval process
  • Acceptance of monitoring, reporting, and recovery procedures
  • Valid contact and signatory details for contract execution

Deposit

A refundable or applied initial deposit is required before vehicle handover. The amount depends on vehicle type, plan length, and assessment outcome.

Typical range
Set per vehicle and plan after assessment
Purpose
Secures the vehicle allocation and confirms commitment to the repayment schedule
Payment
Paid according to the approved KAONA onboarding invoice before release
Assessment
Final deposit amount is confirmed after KAONA reviews the vehicle package and applicant profile

Exact deposit figures are shared during application review. They are not published as fixed site prices because each vehicle and plan differs.

Repayment

Repayments are structured around the approved plan for the selected vehicle. Drivers repay over an agreed period through scheduled instalments linked to earnings capacity and plan type.

Schedule
Weekly or monthly instalments as defined in the signed KAONA agreement
Duration
Plan length depends on vehicle value, deposit, and sponsor or driver package selected
Late payment
Missed payments trigger follow-up, penalties where applicable, and risk review under the agreement
Ownership transfer
Completed repayment and compliance with all terms may lead to ownership transfer as stated in the contract

Guarantors

Approved guarantors strengthen driver applications and provide an additional layer of accountability under KAONA work and pay plans.

  • One or more guarantors may be required depending on assessment outcome
  • Guarantors must provide valid ID and verifiable contact details
  • Guarantors acknowledge responsibility under the terms of the KAONA guarantor agreement
  • GoGreenGH reserves the right to reject guarantors who do not meet policy standards

Tracker & Camera Policy

Vehicles under KAONA plans may be fitted with approved tracking and camera systems to protect the asset, support recovery, and improve operational accountability.

  • GPS tracking may be active for the life of the plan or until ownership transfer
  • Camera or telematics devices may be installed where required by the agreement
  • Tampering with, disabling, or removing approved devices is a serious breach of terms
  • Data and footage are used for asset protection, dispute resolution, and agreed operational review
  • Drivers and sponsors are briefed on device use during onboarding

Risk Controls

KAONA uses practical controls to protect drivers, sponsors, and GoGreenGH throughout the life of each plan.

Application review

Every driver and sponsor application is reviewed before approval. Documentation and eligibility checks are completed before vehicle allocation.

Deposit and payment monitoring

Deposits, instalments, and arrears are tracked against the signed schedule. Late payments trigger structured follow-up.

Vehicle monitoring

Tracker and camera policies help protect financed vehicles and support recovery if terms are breached.

Contract enforcement

Signed KAONA agreements define recovery, guarantor involvement, and plan termination where necessary.
